The Genuine Me
Hypocrisy is not my cup of tea;I am as genuine as I can be
From a strong believer in the balance of Mind, Body and Spirit, who regularly practices meditation; to an ardent NLPer who advocates that everyone of us have all the resources we need to achieve our desired outcomes.
To me, learning NLP (for Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is like learning the language of your own mind. I see it as understanding how our mind works; how it processes and interprets the information it receives. NLP is all about effecting changes in perception, and creating choices of how we respond or communicate in a given situation. NLP works on the principle that everyone of us have all the resources we need to make positive changes in our own life. I think of NLP as a user manual for the mind.
I began by first discovering the world of NLP for me. My NLP journey began in Feb 2018, when I started the NLP Practitioner program. A great thing that I did for myself in a very long time. Then I journeyed on with the NLP Master Practitioner and Coaching Certification course. And, as I journeyed on, I awed over the skills at my disposal to guide others in making real breakthroughs and creating lasting positive change. I could not ask for any more sense of fulfilment than that of leading others away from their cloudy moments. I’m thrilled to have begun a new Chapter in my NLP Life and journey on as an NLP Coach & Corporate Trainer.
In my years with the corporate world, I worked with people of varying demographics and had the opportunity in helping many to draw out their best; everyone needs a lifting at some point.
As an Officer in the Public Service, project managing Information Technology (IT) applications and systems, critical for the smooth operations of the government, I constantly felt a lingering emptiness; a hollowness that need to be filled. I didn’t know for a long time what that was about. Hey, don’t get me wrong, all right. It was a great job that I was indeed grateful for and I just didn’t feel the sense of fulfilment and satisfaction of serving my purpose for a worthwhile cause.
Let’s put it this way, I would grumble and drag myself out of bed after a work call in the wee hours because a critical system went down; whereas I would spring off my bed after a call from a distressed client who needs me, and swiftly make my way to wherever they might be.
Yes, I would be available for my clients as much as I can; this is the promise I offer. My clients are critical to me and I will be of High Availability (HA) for them (pardon me for speaking in IT terms).
I also want to help spread the wonders of NLP to Organizations, bestowing Professionals with mastery to excel them forward with their projects and career goals. Hence why I am also offering corporate training services, to satisfy that part of me. After all, I am from the corporate world, so how could I neglect it? 😉
